From April 17 to 19, 2024, Dr. Berkei attended the congress “Facial Rejuvenation Workshop – Demystifying Deep Plane Face Lift (& Cadaver Dissection)” on the subject of facelifts in plastic and aesthetic surgery in Ghent, Belgium. Various topics were covered at the congress, including deep plane versus plication, deep neck work, gliding brow lift and microfat grafting. The event offered a unique opportunity for plastic and aesthetic surgeons to exchange information on current trends and facelift techniques over several days. The live operations, in which renowned surgeons such as Patrick Tonnard and Andre Auersvald presented their expertise, were particularly highlighted. The congress allowed Dr. Berkei to gain valuable insights and expand her expertise, and emphasized the importance of continuing education in plastic and aesthetic surgery.
